Terms of Service
Short version: the itineraries here are a starting point produced by a language model, the prices and times can be wrong, and you should check anything you are about to rely on.

By using https://beyond-seoul.vercel.app you agree to these terms. If you do not, please do not use the site. The site is operated by BeyondSeoul, an individual in the Republic of Korea.
1. What the service is
BeyondSeoul publishes travel guides and generates day-by-day itineraries for trips in South Korea from a short survey. It is an information and planning service. We do not sell travel, take bookings, hold your money, or act as an agent for any airline, hotel or tour operator.
2. Itineraries are generated, and can be wrong
Itineraries are produced by a large language model. Models invent things that sound right. A restaurant may have closed, a place may not exist under the name given, an opening time may be out of date, and a route may not be practical on the day you travel.
The same applies to figures published in our guides — fares, ticket prices, passes and budgets change, and the number here may be older than the one at the counter.
Verify anything you are about to depend on— a booking, a last train, a border crossing, a closing time — against the operator’s own source. Treat what you read here as a draft to check, not an instruction to follow.
3. Accounts and limits
- You may use the planner without registering; your browser is given an anonymous account.
- Anonymous visitors can generate one plan a day. Registered accounts can generate three. These limits also apply per IP address, and exist because generation has a real cost.
- Do not attempt to bypass those limits, script the site, or scrape it at a rate that affects other people.
- You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us if you think someone else is using it.
4. What you post
You keep ownership of comments and any text you write. By posting, you give us permission to display and store it as part of running the site. Do not post anything unlawful, abusive, or that you do not have the right to post. We may remove content or close an account that breaks this, and we may do so without notice where the content is unlawful.
5. Our content
The guides, page text and design on this site belong to BeyondSeoul. You are welcome to quote a passage with a link back. You may not republish articles wholesale, or use the site’s content to train a model, without permission. An itinerary generated for you is yours to use for your own trip.
6. Affiliate links
Some links on this site earn us a commission if you book through them, at no extra cost to you. This is set out in full in our Affiliate Disclosure. Your contract for anything you book is with that provider, not with us, and their terms govern it.
7. Availability
The site is provided as it is, without a guarantee that it will be available, complete or error-free. We may change or withdraw features, including the planner, at any time. Plans and data may be lost; keep your own copy of anything that matters.
8. Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from your use of this site or of an itinerary generated on it — including a missed connection, a closed venue, a booking made on out-of-date information, or any cost of your trip. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death, personal injury, or fraud.
9. Privacy
What we collect and who processes it is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
10. Changes and governing law
If these terms change, the date at the top of this page changes with them. They are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, and disputes fall to the courts of the Republic of Korea, without prejudice to any mandatory protection you have as a consumer where you live.
